Should a pinfired horse be jumped?

I know it's not any of my Business but I'm just curious.. There's a girl at my barn who owns a 13 year old off the track Thoroughbred gelding and he's pin-fired on both legs. Is it okay for someone to be jumping a solid 4'2 course with a pin-fired horse? Also this horse is only worked on the weekends, she doesn't warm him up before jumping and he's not in great shape, should I say something even though it's not my horse?
