Advice on changing from the snaffle to a dutch gag?

I wouldn't get a new bit. I would just work on making him stop leaning on you. Once he leans, just pull back on his mouth. Don't yank or anything though. Eventually he should stop leaning as long as you pull back as soon as he leans.
