Handling and Breaking inexperienced Shetland Colts?

Shetlands can be rather stubborn creatures. The more time you spend with them the better they will gentle. Our new colt is responding to touch while we hold a feed bucket to preoccupy him. I suggest simply getting it used to a blanket on its back first and move up to sand bags to get them used to weight on its back. this worked for the tangs I broke as a child. Good Luck!
